Why choose me as your coach?

My answer to that question is that I have a unique and proven track record. I was paralyzed in a car accident in 1985 at the age of 27 and I use a wheelchair due to a spinal cord injury from that accident. It was a very hard and often difficult road back then. I was very successful in my professional career prior to my injury, to the degree that I was featured in an article in national trade magazine in my field. I was also a father and an accomplished musician. Suddenly, everything in my life turned upside down. The job was gone, my income stopped, I had two small children to raise, countless physical, medical, financial and emotional challenges to overcome, and a new life to create.

Nine months and two different hospitals later, I was discharged. After returning home, I started a charity that grew to become a national leader in funding scientific research for finding a cure for paralysis. People reap the benefits of our work back then, today. I've been certified by my state as a trained volunteer to help local businesses comply with state and federal handicap access laws. I've designed and drawn architectural plans for accessible homes and home renovations for people with physical disabilities. I've was the founder and the Chairman of the Commission On Disabilities in the town where I lived. I served on other town boards, as well. The most important job that I had was raising my two children, whom I'm very proud to say have gone on to achieve incredible successes in their own careers.

It has been nearly three decades since my accident. Normally, an injury such as mine destroys lives and people, but I live a very happy life today. I am blessed with a caring family and amazing friends. I have grown, reflected, examined, learned, and I have experienced many wonderful things. Life is good and the future is bright, and I love my Life Coach career. Helping people is very rewarding. I feel that my life experiences have transformed into a gift that I use to help people, and it's a gift that I want to share with you.
